La Mer is an original PARC story ballet that tells the story of a young girl who wants to save the oceans and stop littering. After a day at the beach, she finds a turtle wrapped up in litter and frees it. In exchange for her kindness, the turtle gifts the young girl a magical belt that will let her breathe underwater, and the two embark on an undersea adventure. But! The belt is from a sea witch and their fun comes to an end when the sea witch steals back her belt, almost drowning the young girl. Luckily, her new sea friends move her to the shore and save her life.

The spring show also featured a corps de ballet piece from Paquita with 32 dancers.
