This children’s story is about a young girl who becomes impatient waiting for her mother. She wanders into a doll shop filled with dolls from around the world. To her surprise and delight, the dolls come to life. As in a dream, she dances with Harlequin, Columbine and Pierrot, Corderoy the Bear, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Oriental Dolls, Scottish Dolls, Egyptian Dolls and a Jack in the Box. Her wonderful merriment is soon halted when her distraught mother comes looking for her and sweeps her away from the shop.
